Hi! I'm Ashley Hopkins- Creator of California Hair and Beauty
My passion for hair and makeup started at an early age. I’ve always been a creative person and that drove me to try many different mediums to express myself. It was after a course in theatre makeup and special effects that really sparked my interest in working in the beauty industry. I ran the hair and makeup team for a few productions and that fed the desire further.
Even with detours and distractions (that’s life right?) I still pursued my education in hair and beauty. Eventually I found my way across the pond and in need of a creative outlet. As well as achieving qualifications in bridal hair and makeup, hair extensions and makeup artistry I threw myself into online learning (who hasn’t gotten lost in a makeup tutorial or twelve?!) Finding my relaxed California style mixed into the ultra glam that is Liverpool England, I found a need for a more natural glamorous service to bring clients. I loved helping a client feel that confidence when she looks her best.

Now I bring that relaxed effortless beauty to the ladies of the NW. Fixing their hair problems, achieving their dream looks for their wedding days, or just making them feel their best on a night out. I look forward to helping you reach your beauty goals, whatever they may be.
